Arizona’s Salt River Rafting Season is a go!!

(and we have some open spaces during the prime weeks)

It is mid-February and our Salt River season is a go! We only get a Salt season about half of the years and we have and we have some open spaces during the prime weeks.

The Salt River, ‘Arizona’s other Grand Canyon’, is one of the most spectacular and unique wilderness rafting trips in the country. Tons of whitewater, wilderness solitude, world-class camping, the desert sun in spring, and granite inner gorges that cut through the exotic Saguaro Cactus forests of Arizona’s Sonoran Desert make it like no other river trip on earth.

The Salt only has a season about half of the time – there are many years where it never gets high enough to raft. This season looks to be Mid-March through mid-April.

For those who are interested, we have some spaces that have opened up in late April – prime season!

It is a spectacular place and we do not get a chance to see it every year!
