Voted one of the Seven Wonders of Oregon by Travel Oregon, Crater Lake has been calling to adventurers around the world for decades. The deepest lake in north America and the 7th deepest in the world, Crater Lake is piercingly blue and so pure that outside watercraft are not allowed in the park.

Hike year-round, snowshoe, cross-country ski, run, cycle, and don’t forget a Boat tour to Wizard Island (operates daily June through September). Race around the rim in the annual Rim Run or cycle the annual Crater Lake Century ride available in 62-mile or 100-mile routes.The park is open year-round and the visitor centers and the lodge are open May – October (may vary).

Crater Lake is 75 miles from the town of Ashland (65 from Medford) and takes approximately two hours travel time, making it a wonderful day trip  anytime of year.
