And during a time of COVID the precautions were taken so we felt safe. This allowed us to enjoy the beauty of the river and forget about the 2020 craziness.   5 "We went on this trip July 12-15, 2020, after having done my first trip with Momentum in August 2019, on the Idaho Salmon. This trip was was everything I expected from Momentum. The guides (Shana and Alyssa on the rafts and Glen on the gear raft) were amazing: competent, fun, worked hard every day to ensure a fantastic trip for us. The food was fantastic for normal circumstances, let alone considering it was made by the guides. The river itself is beautiful, good mix of rapids and calm. There was really only one set of rapids that we had to hike around while the guides took the rafts through, then another set of rapids where everyone had to be on the rafts and not in any kayaks. Otherwise, we were in the kayaks most of the time. Got dumped in rapids a few times (from the kayaks, not from the rafts), but I've learned to expect that on these trips and nothing felt scary. Overall, just a rad trip from start to finish!. I plan on doing more trips with Momentum, for certain. But, no matter what river, where, and when you're interested, you absolutely can't go wrong with Momentum." - Erik 1 2 3 4 5

Momentum did an amazing job not just with organizing and keeping things clean, but the leadership was stellar! Shana was an amazing trip leader, exuding confidence, patience, and cheerfulness every step of the way. The rest of the crew was incredible and I wish the trip had not ended so soon. I guess that would be my only complaint--it was too short! Next summer I think I’m going to head back to the Main Salmon for the second time with Momentum, and also try to do the Upper Klamath with them as well! We've done several trips with Momentum and all of their trips have consistently been first class. We had a couple of friends who were somewhat reluctant (had never been rafting) who went with us.   5 "We did a private 4 day, 3 night rafting trip with Momentum on the Wild and Scenic Rogue with 3 families- kids ranging from 11-13. It was THE BEST in every way! The kids had an incredible time kayaking, swimming, jumping off rocks and hanging out in camp. The food was beyond expectation- every meal was creative, healthy and delicious.   5 "First and foremost, thank you. What an incredible adventure. We are still buzzing, even though now back at home in the swing of work and mundane family life! Nothing to argue about – no whining over who was doing dishes, no complaining about making beds or tidying up. It took all that angst out of the family dynamics and allowed everyone to just focus on enjoying each other’s companies. For me, as the family unpaid slave, I couldn’t be more grateful to just switch off and properly relax. Unplugged – seriously, you need to shout this message from the roof tops. As families are uncoupled by the ever present gadgets, these 4 days felt utterly luxurious to have everyone’s time and attention. I re-found my teen. He gave me a cuddle in the morning in the tent. He came and was on lookout duty whilst I had a pee! Who knew? He was considerate and engaging. He was busy being challenged on the kayak boosting his self-esteem. For families with teens, this trip is heaven sent. Pushing the boundaries. Tyler was an awesome role model for my boys. He was strict with them, taught them to be safe but to push their limits. When my teeny 9 year old capsized in a fairly turbulent rapid, I was ready to jump in and become melodramatic. Tyler calmly got the raft back there, he was totally comfortable and now lives to tell the tale of the V Rapid that he got the better of 🙂 I almost wept when I saw the landing point at the end of the trip. Here we go, back to the feuds, the battles, the laundry, the cooking, the day job. You gave me and my family 4 days of unbridled happiness. I will forever be grateful.
