Anthony and Tyler, our river guides were professional, courteous, very experienced and super fun! They'll be telling us fun stories and history of the river when the water is calm, and safely guided us even with our eyes closed (literally!) through the ups and downs of whitewater splashes. Breakfast and lunch was prep with fresh and quality ingredients... Lox, bagels, marionberry creamcheese (yum!), French press coffee and juice for breakfast. Fresh multigrain loafs, cold cuts, avocados, assorted veggies, carved fruits, and a big bowl of peppercinis! At the end of our whole day fun, we also have fresh, cold, juicy watermelons to end our trip (while other outfitters had none!). Sign up with them, you won't be disappointed!"

We had a very knowledgeable guide (Jane) and driver (Anthony) who made the entire trip relaxing, safe, fun...a blast. My husband has had some bad experiences on the water, and I was concerned that he might be uncomfortable, but our guide's confident and laid back leadership style had him (and me) at ease."

Never having rafted in swift water before, I was a little concerned but soon got over any feeling of trepidation with Anthony’s guidance and steady hand. Ten minutes on the river and my thought was that is going to be really FUN. Even though it was a little chilly, the over all experience was fantastic. Anthony and Tyler - you were both great to us - very patient while instilling confidence and a sense of fun. Who could have asked for better guys to take four “60 something” gals to the river. Very careful and thoughtful while being fun and funny :-) I really had a great time. My current plan is to get out there and do it again very soon.   • "My husband and I took a trip out west. We planned on traveling down the coast of Oregon. We heard about Momentum Whitewater Rafting online and decided to give it a try. After talking to a customer rep. we decided to sign up for an entire days trip. It was awesome and we were so glad we did! My husband an I are both in are late 60's and had never done this before! Tyler was so knowledgeable and instructed us on how to handle ourselves as well as the raft. I was a bit nervous, but once we got going thoroughly enjoyed the trip! Tyler informed us about the river and the habitat of the fish and animals there. He even had a wonderful picnic lunch for all of us to enjoy on the beach around midday. I was very impressed with the care for the environment. Everything we brought in, we took out. It was a great trip and one we wouldn't hesitate to do again. Nice part also was the company picks you right up at your hotel and drops you back there at the end of the day. No worries about finding where to go! Thanks Tyler for a super trip! -Gayle "

  • "Simon, Now that we are back in the UK, I wanted to say thank you for making our one-day trip down the Upper Klamath a highlight of our stay in the USA. My wife, our 14-year-old son and I, all enjoyed it immensely. Firstly, it's a great river with dramatic sections, stunning scenery and lots of wildlife; there is also a good flow even in August: I still find it hard to believe that in the calm sections between the rapids the river visibly slopes downhill. Secondly your organisation is very professional, but also personal, with pre-trip confirmatory e-mails and a pickup from our campsite that was bang on time. But most importantly, more than an experienced guide and an excellent raft-Captain, your knowledge of the area and enthusiasm for the experience was infectious and added hugely to the overall enjoyment. This was, as billed, an exhilarating wilderness experience not a theme park ride which we will all remember for many years to come. Thanks again to you and all at Momentum.   • "I was not sure how I would feel about an all day river rafting Class 4 rapids trip having very little experience rafting and being generally risk adverse! However, this was a wonderful experience for me, as well as my husband and 13 and 17 yo children. Our guide, Anthony, inspired absolute confidence and skillfully negotiated the rapids. The trip was beautiful and fun and jumping into the river and swimming at the end of the trip was also a highlight."

There could not have been a more perfect experience for each and everyone of us. We're still talking about it and will for a long time. Each of the groups think they had "the best" river guide. Personally, I think Arden (ours) was the best because we were in her boat. She was so much fun, such an expert, and we learned so much about the river. She was obviously extremely experienced and skilled, very safety conscious, and geared our boat to have the most joyful time possible. Loved her laugh!!! I would recommend you guys anytime!
